Approximate Purchase Date: After the end of October.

Budget Range: $550 MAX I prefer $500

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Minecraft, up to 10 tabs of Tootle Chrome, skype call, misc school work(light), and finally photo editing, but only simple stuff.

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: Everything but keyboard, mouse, and monitor.

Do you need to buy OS: Yes, I would prefer a cheap version of Linux(Zorin 6)? But is that easy to install?

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Part list on pcpartpicker.com

Location: City, State/Region, Country - Doylstown PA USA

Parts Preferences: I have none.

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: I'm sorry I am not at my computer and do not know the res(low though)

Additional Comments: No white red or silver cases, I prefer dark blue or black. If what I want is not happening and I can rethink what I want from it.

And Most Importantly, why am I upgrading? I need a better Pc as I have a 10 year old computer that never had good parts. :hello:

Ok I just increased my budget to $550 and I think I would prefer an Intel i3-2100 as a Cpu and a radeon 6750 chooser if that would work.

That.Looks.Perfect.

Although is the video card overkill for just minecraft? Any other big games I have an xbox for.

For example

If in item is $150 after a $20 rebate

Please just put $170 and $150 after rebate

Just wondering but, why did you post that. Your not a mod and niether am I so all I can do is ask you not to post that here and if you do want to have rebates not included in price than ask on your own thread or ask the people at pcpartpickercom. Again not a mod.

Also, if you have suggestions for my $100 than ill take them though.

no thanks for apevia. heard they put a ton of crap.

in your build, the CPU is better by a bit since it has 4 cores instead of 2. the drawback is that you cant play games very well since the 6870 easily destroys the 6570 which isnt powerful enough to get high settings
