Hello.

For the last 2 weeks my PC has been increasing in problems, and I've been spending too much time trying to fix it.

Specs:

Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Asus RoG Rampage II extreme
Intel Core i7 @ 2.67
6 gb ddr 3 ram that's showing as 4gb atm (one of the problems)
Ati 4890 1gb...

So far I've run Checkdisk, memtest, virtual memory stress test, furmark and every one of them ran stable without any errors at all...which is very puzzling as every thread i read on many many sites (including toms hardware) said to do this and see the errors that come up.

I've been writing down every bluescreen i got since i started fixing my pc as well as taken pictures of the gfx vram stress test and the ram problem.

After running all these i was convinced this would be a driver issue as it only happened during gaming, so i checked what i had (12.3 CCC)

This wasn't supposed to be causing any problems with games like diablo 3 etc (according to their site they even recommended reverting to this version for stability purposes)

The errors started randomly and progressively kept happening faster and more profoundly. It would start as green blocking vertical lines over my screen then move to everything smearing all over the screen and random colors until finally my display would freeze and blue screen/ recover after 20 secs only to go into another freeze 5 seconds after.

I have every temperature monitored with heat monitors that are plugged to each individual part of my pc and none of them cross 40 C, gfx runs around 60-90 (4890 runs hot and has the shutdown at 120 according to what i read); during furmark it stabilized at 93 C.

I tried 12.4, 12.4a, 12.4b DNA (do not argue) modded ati drivers from 11 to newest...and i had the exact same issue persist through any version (i cleaned registries and followed every step described everywhere i found, to no avail...and yes by that i mean i did not leave anything behind and did do proper cleanups of old drivers, more then a dozen times)

During windows performance rating refresh (the windows built in pc scoring system) my graphic capabilities were downed to 2.0 from 7.6 it showed 2 weeks ago, during the run it crashed my display driver multiple times and this occurred every time it tested direct x related things.

I've updated and changed dx versions as well, but nothing changed, tried a bios update considering my ram is not showing the full 6 gb (cpuz shows it) but it doesn't get recognized in computer properties or memory displays. (I also tried slotting my rams in different slots and 1 by 1...every combination i could do and run memtests, but all was fine)

Can anyone help here, I'm running out of options.
(same visual errors persist through the following games: Skyrim, Smite, League of Legends, Diablo 3, Tribes, and as of today Pes 2012)

posting screens showing in game problems as well as BDOS in a few minutes

(would edit in but it tells me that I'm not allowed to.

I've found a (could be more) problem, the contact on my cpu is not stable (putting the pc sideways fixes it to a degree) and as it controls memory it shows all 6gb when sideways, will buy thermal paste so i can open it and reapply it after checking it for bad pins.
