What is bets graphics card for a system taht has a dedicated memory of 256MB?

unless you upgrade your 220w psu, you shouldn't get anything higher than an ati hd 6570

1024mb should work just fine with your system, where did you get the idea of 256mb being dedicated to the graphics?

I disagree with bigcyco1, hd7750 would be cutting the psu too close. It won't work unless the OP upgrades his psu as well.

yes unless you want to upgrade your power supply to at least 450w. Then you can get the hd7750/7770.

You might be right if he upgraded he be fine I'd suggest buying a quality 400W PSU

I think so, you might wanna double check tho. Any atx power supplies should work. I would recommend a corsair cx430. it should be able to power up a hd7770/hd7750

It doesn't matter about the memory, The dedicated memory only means that the onboard graphics uses 256 from your main memory. A installed card will have it's own 1024 memory. You need a low profile card

Forgot about the 6570, that could work also I guess. we really either need the OP to upgrade or give is some more info about the power supply.
