if you're going to eventually get a 1080p monitor, then go with GTX 670 or 7970 ghz edition. If you're not going to upgrade, then you can still get the same card and guarantee you'll be maxing out all the games with 16xAA/AF/tesselation on 1440x900 resolution for like the next 4-5 years lol. (well, your processor might become a problem then)

The 660TI's competition is more the Radeon 7950. I have the 7950 and it is a great card. At 1920x1080, it can max out most of the games. It is also a good overclocker. Honestly though, their performance is too similar that either one would do you well.

2 to 3 years ahead, it should still be able to play the latest games though, obviously not maxing them out anymore.

Thank you guys for all the advice! I decided to go with a GTX 670, but the EVGA FTW version. I rescheared a bit and found out it's almost the same as a stock GTX 680, I can live with that! I'm getting it at the end of this month. I heard about Amd's overclocking abbillitys but i'm not a overclocker so AMD won't do me much good I think, also my psu won't allow (Correct me if I'm wrong). So yeah
