Hello,

I'm trying to set up a computer for my wife to play World of Warcraft, and I have two video cards available. The first is a PNY GeForce 8600 GT 256mb PCIE card. And the Second one is a Geforce 9400 GT 1GB PCI card.

Would the PCI card with the newer GPU and larger onboard RAM outperform the older PCIE card? Even though PCI is so much slower than PCIE?

That's a tough call; On the one hand, the 8600GT has 32 Cuda Cores to the 9400GT's 16, but that 256MB of Frame Buffer might end up being a bottleneck. Honestly, I would try the 8600GT, and if you're not satisfied with the performance, swap it for the 9400.
