Recently I have installed windows 8 os on my system.I am using 1TB hard drive, while installing I have created 4 partions of 48gb,200gb,250gb,195gb.Now the problem is the remaining space went to unallocated disk space and I was unable to create partition for that space,it showed some error. now,my computer is showing only 4 partitions.

can I get unallocated disk space back.??

Well yes it would. You have created four partitions, and all were formatted.
Because the space that is left has not been formatted. Has it.
So its not allocated as a drive or another partition, or set size. for it.
You have an option to change a partition size if you look. Reduce, and allocate more space to another partition. Its all there in windows setup.
Or use disk manager inside windows.
