Problem recording with my ATI TV TUNER

Hi,
I have the ATI TV Tuner PCI with a Celeron 400mhz, 256 rams, 50 gig hd, 16 mb 3DFX Voodoo 3 card. My problem is, when I try recording my computer freezes or when I schedule a rec. time, it doesn't work. I tried *.avi and *.mpeg, same problem. Can someone help?

What OS are you using.

The OS i am running is Win98 SE.

Your problem is 2 fold, first, you need ot record to a new Hard drive, hopefully 7200 RPM. Second, your celeron may not be able to keep up with the stream. More than likley it is a HD problem. buy yourslelf a second HD and see if the frame rate doesn't increase. If it works for you then don't fix it.
