Cant detected Wlan card in CQ-50

Hi ,


I was disassembling CQ-50 215 NR Compaq Presario LT, but unfortunately i have removed the ribbon which gets attached by glue to the power button board and now i can attach it back the ribbon to the power button board cuz the pins of the ribbon are too small and it not getting stick to the pins on power button board but somehow without power button i can start my computer by shorting pin3 and pin4 ..... but when i reach the desktop it cannot detect my wlan card ....

My question is does wlan card has to do anything with the pins of the power button board.......
