$700 Gaming pc, PS2 and Wii emulator build

Approximate Purchase Date: Hopefully by the end of the month

Budget Range: $700ish, not including monitor

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Emulating Wii and Ps2 games, may also play them on my 40" tv if that matters.

Are you buying a monitor: Yes, separate from the budget. What do you think of this one?Insignia™ - 20" Widescreen Flat-Panel LED HD Monitor

Do you need to buy OS: No, I have an OEM of Windows 7

Location:Cary, Illinois, USA

Parts Preferences: by brand or type: Amd Processors don't work well with dolphin

Overclocking: Would rather not overclock.

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: 1600 x 900

Additional Comments:Being able to run the games is the most important thing, I don't care about eye candy that much. I'm having Frys build it for $70, though I won't include that in the budget.

  1. Wow, sorry that no one ever replied to this thread.
  2. For emulators your gonna want a strong Intel CPU because they are alot more heavy on the CPU than GPU.
