Have you confirmed the driver for the wireless card are installed?

Press the Windows key + R and type "devmgmt.msc" and press enter. This will open up "Windows Device Manager" and it will show you the status of all the device drivers installed on your computer. You want all your devices to be working properly with no question marks, exclamation marks, or Xs.
