So I am attempting my first build and after shopping around this is what I have come up with. Just wondering if anyone sees anything that is incompatible, an uninformed decision I may have made or something I may be missing. Any input would be helpful.
I plan to use it for gaming first and foremost but I also do computer and web programming using many Adobe products and lots of Visual Studio.

I recently purchased a power supply and graphics card that I will move to the new build when ready

I would like to look into crossfire in the future but this particular card is now at least $100 more than when I bought it and seems to be clocked higher than the other manufacturers cards, not sure how that works but I do plan to research that when I can afford to.

I plan to use my 40" led t.v.(1920x1080)for my display until I decide on a 3d monitor for gaming.

I do realize the overkill with the 2400 memory and do wonder if the slight difference would be noticeable with programming/graphic editing, either way the motherboard says it supports it so I thought why not.

My budget is around $1500 and I hope to make the purchases within the next month, all from newegg. I plan to use my copy of Win 7 x64 ultimate. I may try my hand at overclocking but not a major factor, I live in the U.S. (Northern Wisconsin), no real parts preference. Reason for build is that I want a good system and enjoy the project.

Any help with my new venture would be much appreciated, thanks.
