I've been away from this scene for a while. I've been looking at bench marks and a few reviews and it appears that the i5-3570k is the best CPU for under £200 for gaming.
However, for gaming am I over-shooting a bit? About 10 months ago the best mid-range CPU was the 2500k imo. Should I be saving a few quid to go towards my GPU and get say the i5 2500k? (not much price difference though i admit).
