I don'tk now how to ask this since the words and terms are necessarily standard. I want a USB Wifi Adaptor. So basically a thingy that plugs into a USB port and lets me connect to a WiFi signal. However I explicitly want it so that I can shared my computer's Internet connection as a WiFi signal. Also I want it to be in "Acess Point Mode". Having is share a connection in Ad-Hoc mode does not meet my needs.

* Prefer New Egg Amazon
* Share computer's connection via WiFi.
* Explicitly in "Acess Point mode".

I guess you are looking for something like this http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/15409681/692998276/Hama-Wireless-Wifi-LAN-Dongle-USB-2-0-Stick-300-mbps-For-Samsung-TV-s/ListingDetails.html?_%24ja=tsid:11518|cat:15409681|prd:15409681

But let me remind you if you want to have an access point too I guess you might need to connect your computer through cable to the router? I recently bought a Wifi PCI card and it comes with 2 antennas for when you want to use it as a AP, but AP mode requires the computer to be connected through cable.

Yea something like that. But where does it say or where can I look to see if it can be setup as an "Acess Point." Yes the computer it would be pluged into has a wired Internet connection.

Hold on, I don't think you need to buy any special dongle. You can create a bridged connection (pretty much like having tethering connection) watch this for example
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6rZUgYWVcQ

Create a bridge between the dongle and the wired connection like the vid and it should work.
Now if you got a desktop pc and you don't want to complicate yourself just get a pci card with ap mode.
