I have a GIGABYTE GA-880GM-D2H (REV. 3.1) AM3+ AMD 880G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboar. Its Onboard Video Chipset is an ATI Radeon HD 4250. I want to get a better video card, so I can play Dawn of War II and all of its expansions. What would be a good card for this? I was hoping this one would suffice: Asus MATRIX 5870/2DIS/2GD Radeon HD 5870 Video Card - 2GB GDDR5, PCI-Express 2.0

Here's a link to the MOBO:

You can pretty much run any modern video card with that motherboard. What kind of power supply are you using, and what is your budget?

it looks like you might need another power supply to power the fan, or i might be wrong

Actually thats pretty cheap for a 5870, which is still a good card; it betters my 6950 (at stock clocks that is)

What is the power supply you are using? It should run on a reliable 500W-600W

Output: 500W Max.

As for my budget? I'd like to keep it under $200.

Did you purchase the video card from that site? I saw something on there that I wanted to get as well, just wasn't sure cuz I had never heard of the site before so I wanted to see if you really got the prices they advertised on there

also, they only seem to accept money orders. it's a very sketchy checkout process.
