3570k usual temps

hi everyone! thought i would ask what is the usual temp while gaming on a 3570k. I just bought and installed a msi 7870 hawk $240 and a corsair vs550 power supply now ive installed them both i thought i would run a couple of games at high res. Now when running for less than 1hour i have my cpu meter running in background and temp alarm running for 65c it has been going off, never before did it when i just ran it with the igp intel hd4000 and yes i am running stock cooler will be upgrading it soon antec 920 kuhler but i thought with taking off igp the processor would run smoother and less :\

oh my graphics card never gets over 60c
and my case is a guardian 921rb 2 1200mm inlet fans and 1 1200mm outlet fan and a 1400mm outlet fan on top

Ivy bridge is hotter so 65 on stock heatsink isn't bad to be honest. Nothing to worry about until you reach 80-90.

Not true. Intel has said that the thermal limt is 67.4 celsius. Above that temperature might hurt the CPU.

Thats recommended temp.

TJ MAX (Thermal breakdown) is 90-105c

ok so its not hitting 70's i think it hits 65c and thats it but hopefully soon ill get my water cooling kit and solve this problem asap
