Pc shuts down while playing Black ops 2

hello, my problem is that wherever i play Black Ops 2, my PC shuts down, my computer notifies me that it was caused by Asus anti surge protection as it had detected a power surge. This only happens on Black ops 2 and no other game, i have tested CSS, Far Cry 3, DayZ, Arma 2, just cause 2 etc they all ran for hours. I have also ran a furmark test which completed successfully. So i highly doubt that i have a faulty power supply. Please can someone help me fix this issue, thanks

Ram: 16 GB
Gpu: Nvidia 550 ti
Mobo: Asus M5A78L-M
Psu: OCZ Core X Stream

can't you disable it in bios?

If I do, and something is wrong, what is the risk i will be damaging components??
