and you think 4 gigs of ram is enough for that?

you know that is going to be not the greatest in performance.

the rig will run less demanding games at med-low resolutions and settings with playable framerates. i wouldn't try metro 2033 on that, but team fortress at 1280x1040 with settings low would be fine.

just to add more emphasis...get a higher quality psu please.

have fun!

min memory requirements for 10.7 is 2gb.

you can buy a single 4gb stick for the same price. dual channel won't give you as much benefit with that processor as overclocking the memory will, anyway. If you find you want more performance from the vm, get a 2nd stick later.

that psu is much better, more in the OK range. the OEM is ATNG; not the most stunning of PSU makers but nothing horrible.
if you can afford the antec, made by FSP, you will have better reliability. but you have made a better choice.

i would not bother with a virtual machine with less than 8 gigs; 4 for the host and 4 for the guest systems. if you cut it to 2 and 2 (4 gigs) that is the bare minimum and everything will run s - l - o - w.
