Is 42C a normal idle temp for a fx-8320??

Hey guys, i just bought a new computer to replace my old gaming rig and i am not sure if it is running as cool as it should be.

I am idling at around 38C-44C. Is this normal? It seems a bit too high for me.

My specs are:

AMD FX-8320 Stock speeds (plan to overclock later) with stock cooler
Asus Crosshair V Formula Z
16gb Kingston HyperX Red 1600 Mhz
Ultra M925 Gaming Case x3 120mm fans (dont know if it counts but well)

Also, even though my memory is 1600mhz, i find that it is only running at 1333mhz. I tried to change this in the BIOS by changing the memory frequency to 1600Mhz, but it solved nothing. Any suggestions?

yea those run on the hot side.

As for the memory thing what did you expect it to solve? The difference between the 2 speeds is not really noticeable from a user perspective.
Run cpuz to confirm the setting took.

mine can be 70 C and i havent overclocked it, i think theres a problem with it, i have good fans and an 350k cooler master case so what can the problem be?
