New Build, CD Drive Problems Tags: Homebuilt Windows 7 CD Drives Systems Platinum_Gamer August 24, 2012 8:07:53 AM Hello community. I have recently built my first PC and I think there are problems with my CD Drive. Specs: i5 3570k 8GB RAM GTX 670 ASROCK Z77 Extreme 4 Windows 7 64bit and Samsung SH-222BB Right now I am installing BF3 through the disc only at 2.5MB/s! That is incredibly slow. My old PC installed it with around 15MB/s I think. my Optical drive is in a SATA 2 3Gb/s port but its using this old blue Sata Cable from one of my earliest computers. I heard that the Cable actually doesn't affect speed. Also during my Windows 7 installation, Expanding Windows 7 Folders was also very slow, took like 20 mins What should I do?
