No budget xD I need to know for what should i save up.If you are video editing or rendering get intel's 'core i7' line of processors.
These i7 processors range from $300 to $1000.
I good new processor line is 'ivy brdge' it consumes less power and performs better than their 2nd gen 'sandybridge' line.
Get the 3770 ($320)(Socket LGA 1155)
or if you want to overclock get the 3770k ($340)(Socket LGA 1155)
For the motherboard there are a few 'bang for your buck' models like the asus p8z77 v pro and gigabyte ga-z77x-ud5h.
both motherboards are priced around the $200-$210 mark, but they perform realy well.
I hope this helped

In games the 6850 would bottleneck it most likely

For i5
the 3570 : $215
and if you want to overclock : $230

Your choice. in gaming it wont make a large differnece but in video editing, the i5 has 4cores & 4threads but on the other hand the i7 has 4cores but 8threads!
8 threads is like having 8 cores and which means faster encoding etc.

Ok now for the motherboard. I won't be overclocking so i'm gonna go for the 3570 non K. And which RAM should i get? The Corsair Vengeance black 4gb got my eye, is it good?

And the motherboard? I won't be overclocking the CPU (most likely) but i will OC the RAM to 1600mhz. I also won't be doing SLI or Crossfire

Whoa! lol 180$ is a bit too expensive for a motherboard... how about something around 100$ASRock Z77 Pro4 - 110$
ASRock Z77 Pro3 - 95$
MSI Z77A-G41 - 110$
The asrock pro4 and msi gd41 are mostly the same but the msi board has nice features like right angled sata ports and the asrock board has a better i/o at the back.
If you can save up for:
MSI Z77A-G43 - 120$

I just checked the prices of all these boards. The MSI Z77A G43 is the cheapest one of the 4 you mentioned.
