Do not want to use the modem of the belkin modem router. How do I do that?

Hi, I have a wireless modem router from Belkin, but I have a wireless internet connection with an antenna on the roof, so i do not want to use the modem part of the Belkin. I put the connection of the antenna in the router, but it does not work. Can anybody help?
