Ok I'm trying to build a gaming PC that can play Skyrim, Starcraft II and Fallout New Vegas at the highest settings, and for future games. I have some idea of what I'm doing but I don't know if I'm spending too much and I keep running into compatibility issues. I'm also having a lot of trouble finding what PSU is adequate to handle what I've got so far.

This is what I have so far and I have a budget of $1650

Motherboard: Gigabyte Intel Z77 LGA 1155 AMD CrossFireX/NVIDIA SLI W/ HDMI,DVI,DispayPort Dual UEFI BIOS ATX Motherboard GA-Z77X-UD3H $150
Processor: Intel i7 3770K Quad Core 3.5 GHz 6MB Cache / LGA 1155 $340
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8) DDR3 1600MHz PC3 240 pins $90
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti Superclocked + 3072MB GDDR5 DVI-I, DVI-D, HDMI, DP,SLI $340
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB SATA III 7200 RPM/64MB Cache $110

Is this ok so far, is it too much for what I want? Is everything compatible? Any help is appreciated.

drop the I7 and get a 3570K, and put more into the GPU
i would drop down to 8GB ram, 16GB is not really needed atm for gaming
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168..., my recommendation for a PSU

and cpu

and since there's room in your budget http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=20-167-...

and that would come up to about $1300
