How to get 3.0 x16 speed from video card ???

i got a asrock Z77 pro4-m motherboard http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.us.asp?Model=Z77%20Pr... the new gen3 i5 - 3570k , and a powercolor hd 7950 video card http://www.powercolor.com/Global/products_features.asp?... . now my mobo has 3.0x16 pcei slot, and my videoc card is 3.0 x16 bus interface , and the cpu is gen3.....how do i change the pcei link speed in my bios.....it only has 2 option auto / gen1...if i got a board, video card , and gen3 cpu, shouldnt there be a gen2 or gen 3 speed option ? http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/1024/120705233601.pn...

Wait about 2 years when graphics cards can probably start to come close to saturating that interface.

Auto will negotiate the best speed common to both the card and the pci-e slot.

But... It really is a non issue. The difference between pcie 2.0 and 3.0 speeds are detectable only with a synthetic benchmark, nor really by any noticeable difference in fps.
