Hey I have a 46 Undead Mage on Illidan and I really need a gear upgrade. I
was wondering if anyone could tell me what I should be wearing/using. I
tried thottbot but I don't know what the hell i'm doing. Thanks

Short of doing instances for rare items (you needn't worry about epic items
at your level) the easiest thing is to load up on 'of the eagle' items, with
a couple 'of the owl' items just for a little spirit thrown in. Don't worry
about having super gear until you're 60, it's not worth the time.

what about checking allakhazam for the listing of cloth armor available
for your level and then placing a bid for it at the Auction House?
