Before asking , here is my pc specs

Intel Core i3
Asus gtx 550 ti
ASRock H61-m
4 GB of ram
160GB HDD( will be updated soon)
Cooler Master 335 Elite.
PSU: Standard one came with the case 400 WATTS
Questions is
is this power enough for my gtx 550 to work ? or i'll have to get a brand new one with 500 WATS?
Also , is updating my RAM ram from 4 GB to 6GB will make any difference?
Note is , i can only update the ram or only the PSU , can't do both together , so what's your opinions?
Thanks.

"Standard" that came with the case is a very doubtful "standard". Since the cards recommended PSU is 400 Watts....You can give it a try with your current PSU and put it through a few stress tests and see if it works fine.
If not, then you'll know if you need a new PSU or not.
Adding RAM in a rig that has insufficient power is not going to help it work.
First see to it that the PSU works fine for your rig with the GPU and then if it does, go for the RAM.

I have used Gtx 550ti+Elite 335 and it worked fine.. But You can go with a better setup.. HD7770 use less power and perform better.. Also something like corsair cx430 is better than that 400W cooler master PSU..

So should i go for the RAM?
EDIT:
Also i've used ATI Tool and went for Artifacts scan for about 3 Mins and GPU Temprature went for 70C and no yellow blocks appeared , so i've got a good PSU? or i'll have to buy a new one?
