Monitors

Hey guys,

Iwas wondering, I think it would be cool if the industry would make wireless, touch, HDMI monitors. I would love to have one hooked up to my desktop computer and sit on my couch playing a game or surf the internet. Does anybody know if there is anything like this? I 'm in need of a monitor.

that would be a tablet haha...they dont make monitors that are wireless withe the power cord. but there is that intel wireless display thing but that still requires an adapter hooked up to the tv via a cable

Yea, I know that it would be tablet. But why can't a tablet be used as a monitor? I'm just asking.

You can, it would be something like remote desktop.

because tablets dont have a video source input for the monitor

Its a good idea... I dont know of any that are currently in production. We have the Intel wireless video tech for tvs and such now, so why not take it a step further and incorporate the wireless video and a touch interface into a large sceen monitor.

My thought is probablly cost and risk. This would end up being an expensive niche item that might not see a ROI for the developer of the tech.
