I need a good GPU for around 120. Please help I would prefer Tiger Direct just cause I have to pay tax for Newegg

7750 if the price is down enough, if not look into getting a 6670 or maybe a 550ti (bit of an overpriced joke) and if your rig has a decent enough power supply then a used/refurbished GTX460. If you decide on getting a used gtx460 then hunt for the 1gb 256bit edition as it is pretty fast and right up there with a non ti gtx560.

If you don't mind a rebate you can get the 7770 or GTX 560 (non-ti) for $120:

560: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2522509&CatId=3669

7770 CORE edition: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2060885&CatId=7387

Oooor (since you're really supposed to pay sales tax to the state no matter what website you use)..this one would actually be $10 cheaper after rebate at Newegg and comes with a free game

7770 (Ghz edition): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127687

That Sapphire is identical to the MSI one on newegg..except TigerDirect is charging $20 more (both before and after rebate). Unless you live in downtown Chicago or NYC, Newegg+tax is cheaper (and even in those places, it's close).

That said, the GTX560 is faster in most things than the 7770. But also requires more PSU/generates more heat (you didn't give your other specs like CPU or whatnot). The 7770 can also run 3 monitors out of the box, and the 560 has Pysics acceleration if those matter to you.

Get the Gigabyte Ivy kit if it's between those, it'll blow the MSI kit out of the water. And go for the GTX 560 I linked at Tiger (the EVGA).

Ok - the 7770 can support 3 out of the box, which is why I asked.

And then I guess it's up to as far as the HDMI vs. mini. All the GTX560s I've seen have a mini-HDMI, so you can either buy that and an adapter (or use DVI) or buy the 7770 which has a full-size HDMI...and doesn't perform as well.

That said, it's maybe 1000-1200 3DMarks difference.

The 7770 will take up to three monitors easy... but you will require some adapters for use with the mini DisplayPort ports if your monitors have HDMI, VGA or DVI. It all depends on the monitors you have and what cables you will have to get.

I cant find another one but it came with it so IDK its a Hanns-g HH251 i bought it originally for xbox so its a cheapy but its actually pretty decent so i guess ill get a 560 if you can find the best deal on one that would be awesome. and in the future on my next build when i hopefully have more money i will pimp it out with two new monitors and put two gpus in it and make it a monster
