7770 vs 560 ti

Hello I'm planning on building a gaming computer in the upcoming month and i need to cut down the price a bit. At first I was going to get a 7850 with and i5 but i think i can lower the GPU. The main things that I want out of this GPU is to be able to run Guild wars 2, Diablo 3, Skyrim at the highest settings, and bf3 (on a lower setting.). I am still planning on getting the i5 2500k, so let me know whats you guys think! thank you!

More about 7770
  1. The 560 Ti will annihilate the 7770. It's a much better choice. The 7770 is efficient, but that is about the only thing it has going for it. It's not cheap, and it's not fast. There are a few deals for 560 Tis that bring them below $200 post-rebate, too.

  2. The 560 Ti performs close to the 7850 level.
The 560 Ti outperforms the 7770. 2 tiers above...

  3. The video card is the last thing you want to skimp on. Also, a 7770 isn't powerful enough to run those games at max settings with good results. Probably playable, but I'd expect frequent dips into low framerates.

You'll get much better gaming performance by cutting cost elsewhere (like the 2500k) and getting a better video card. The video card is what determines your performance in video games.
  4. I would stick with your initial thought of going with the 7850. You should really be considering a 560 ti vs a 7850 since they are similar price and performance. The 7770 is a $100 cheaper card than the 560 ti or 7850 .
  5. go for the 7850

I know this is the 7850 with double dissipation, but the 570 on the chart also has an aftermarket cooler (direct cu ii).
