Currently, I'm running a system with a core i5 3570k and a Geforce 9800GTX+
The GTX+ is the obvious bottleneck in many cases, mostly because of its 512MB size.
So, to free up a bit of memory in physX applications, I'll occasionally run a geforce 8600 or 8400 as a dedicated physX processor.
Here's my question: what GPU's compare in physX power to Aegia's original PPU's? I figure, a lot of performance is being lost to the fact that gpus focus mainly on graphics operations, and so physx only uses a small subset of its capabilities.
I kinda figure the geforce 8600GT might be able to calculate at the same rate.
