Help! My Mini-PC is hitting 60c Idle

Hi,

I have a Dell inspiron zino HD that's CPU is currently running 60 degrees (Celsius) at idle! I've looked around and there seems to be no solution on the internet... I have cracked open the case before and vacuumed it out but it still is heating up to 60 degrees.

The smaller the computer, the hotter it gets. That's just a law of nature. 60C is nowhere close to harmful temperatures, but how hot does it get when you do stuff?

Has it run cooler before?

If so, I might suspect that the cpu cooler has come loose or the grease has deteriorated.

If it has always run hot, then you might change out the cooling fan for a higher cfm version.
The drawback will be added noise.
