Realtek rtl 8185 problem

Sees a Verizon FIOS router, Associates with it for 2-3 seconds, then No Association for 10-15 Seconds, in an endless cycle to infinity. Signal strength is high 90+% Link quality is equally strong but it just continues to cycle on and off without getting an IP Address.

I'm suffering with this exact same problem and have not managed to find a fix yet. Have you or anyone else?
