-Does this build not exceed 530w? Am I on the safe side?

1: id get a better case like the antec one or antec 302
2:id get a psu like the pc power and cooling mk3 400w. its a better unit and it costs less. find it at newegg
3:1.65v ram is not prefered but it works in amd systems. i would of suggested gskill ares 1600mhz cl9 1.5v 2x4gb ram
4:id get a nicer video card like the 7750 or the 7770 instead of the 6670 as it performs much better. the 6670 can only play games at medium or high

if you are overclocking, id suggest a cooler like the hyper 212 evo

1. The case came with a psu, and im on a pretty tight budget and its all i can do!
2. ^^^^^
3. The Ram came with the motherboard in a combo for free so i cant complain:p
4. Im not going to be playing many new games, none that demanding either. Im using it mostly for school and some video games when i have the time, for the higher quality games i have an xbox:p

I was looking at the hive but isn't it a bit overkill for this build?

Thanks man, i have an old psu, can i plug it in and put my foot on it while building to discharge my static? I live in a pretty humid state but I just want to take better safety precautions

the best way to stay discharged is to leave the powersupply plugged into the wall, yes i said plugged into the wall, you wont get shocked because the dangerous voltages are IN the PSU, anything coming out of it is only 12v cant and wont shock you....

due to the fact that the PSU is grounded to the wall socket means that any excess voltage is sent to the wall sockets ground.

its an old hardware gurus trick ive used for years and i live in missouri a very static prone place in the winter, ive built many systems and never a static related problem.
