Hello guys, so im about to buy all the parts for my first ever custom build, but im getting paranoid thinking that maybe something wont work with something or my power supply wont connect to everything etc etc, iv listed everything below so could sombody take a look and tell me if everything would work together? It would be a real big help! Thanks alot.

Xigmatek NRP-VC503 500W Power Supply
CiT Vantage Type-R Gaming Case
Western Digital Scorpio Blue 500GB 5400 RPM SATA Mobile Internal Hard Drive OEM
Sony AD-7280S-0B 24x Internal SATA DVD Multi Writer
ASUS P8H61-M LX B3 Revision - motherboard - micro ATX - LGA1155 Socket - H61
Asus nVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti Graphics Card
Intel i3-2120 Sandybridge Core i3 Dual-Core Processor, 3.30GHz, 3MB Cache, Socket 1155
Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 8GB 1600MHz CL9 DDR3 Vengeance Memory
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium with Service Pack 1, 64-bit, English, 1 Pack, DSP OEI (PC)

Looks good.

My only concern would be the hard drive. 5400rpm mobile drives will work, but are slow. They are designed to conserve energy, not for performance.
The WD black would be better.

If your budget permits, a 120gb SSD will make your pc feel very quick.
If you do not have a need for lots of file storage, why not buy a SSD instead? It will hold the OS and half a dozen games.

You can then add the listed hard drive later for storage if you need it.
Look at Intel 330 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Intel-Series-120GB-Solid-State/dp/B007P3RMLU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1345922645&sr=8-1

or Samsung 830.

I will need a rather big hardrive, just now I have a 320gb on my laptop that is nearly full so an SSD wont do, I will probably buy one at a later date when I upgrade my processor and graphics card etc.
