I'm running a Logitech Cordless MouseMan Wheel connected to one of the USB ports on my Abit BE6-II motherboard(I'd use PS/2, but I need the IRQ). Quake3 tells me it can't initiate DI and falls back to Win32 mouse support. I'm running Win98SE(WinME blows) with DirectX 8.1 Beta Interim 3 and Logitech Mouseware v9.29.3. Earlier versions of DX and Mouseware gave the same issue. I couldn't find describing my issue on either the Microsoft or Logitech support pages. Anyone have a fix? BTW, I need to keep my mouseware so I can tell Windows to use my thumb button as mouse3.
