  2. btw, I didn't include some things because it wasn't mentioned if you needed it, like the keyboard and mouse, OS...
  3. Not bad, what would you choose for the power supply and case? Will you be needing to purchase any Operating System like Windows?

Here is a very basic setup I compiled:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

    CPU: AMD A8-3850 2.9GHz Quad-Core Processor ($98.24 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI A55M-P33 Micro ATX FM1 Motherboard ($51.98 @ NCIX US)
    Memory: G.Skill Value Series 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory ($20.49 @ Newegg)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($101.36 @ Newegg)
Case: Zalman Z9 ATX Mid Tower Case ($29.96 @ Microcenter)
Power Supply: Corsair 430W ATX12V Power Supply ($27.99 @ NCIX US)
    Total: $330.02

Look into AMD's APU like the A8. They have good integrated graphics, way better than the Intel I5's though the processor itself lacks a bit of power. But it would seem sufficient for your needs listed.
  4. all of that from my previous post is just under 400$..not including tax :\

and yeah..i still need a monitor and keyboard

    will i make it? :s
  5. oh and dont include the OS
