Can't install Linksys Network adapter - WUSB300N

Hello,
I run Windows XP SP3 - Internet Explorer 8. When trying to install WUSB300N Network Adapter using installation disk, the intall wizard opens but when I click on (Click Here To Start) I get the message - (Linksys Network Adapter WUSB300N software has already been installed on your PC) do you want to continue? When I click yes I get message - Unable to write to C:\Program Files\linksys\WUSB300N\WLAN.INI

go to Add and Remove Programs and uninstall the software, reboot, and then reinstall it
