Best 500-600 watt psu?

Hello, I am looking to upgrade my psu (currently a cx430 and I love it) but I need more wattage for a Radeon HD 7850. What is the best 500-600 watt psu for the price? I don't want a modular, I just want a high quality psu for a low price.

  8. thats not any better than the xfx i chose, considering seasonic makes xfx powersupplies, and the build quality of the xfx 550 is same quality as the m12

also out of his budget, as he said 70$ max :)

  10. Need to address the elephant here.

If you have a CX430, you're buying a 7850, and that's going to be the only video card in your system, you don't need a new PSU.

The CX430 can handle a 7850 and still have headroom left.

Maybe you're thinking of a different PSU. The CX430 is a great unit.

The CX430 is the go-to PSU for budget builds right now; it's the hyper 212 evo of PSU's if you will :)
  16. nice :)

  23. consensus here is u dont need a new ps, even if i dont normally recommand the cx line seems the 430 watt model seems decent, and u dont need an upgrade it seems :)
  24. yeah my power supply was an unknown brand and it was giving me some noise lately i am affraid it will fail and damage my parts. i just ordered the cx430 from newegg , i was going with the cx500 but the cx430 had better reviews and it was going for 20 dollars after rebate . i just couldn't resist. i hope it will be enough as i am planing on getting a gtx 660 ti in the future i hope it will be good enough to power that gpu if i end up getting it. thanks for your valuable input.
  25. should be enought,

    :)
