thanks a lot for the reply. Sadly i forgot to mention that its factory locked to %70 changing it from msi afterburner doesnt have any effect on the fan speed.

it is a zotac gtx 560

How do you know it's locked at 70%? Did you try emailing zotac? Is it overheating? What are actual RPM numbers, maybe it's just misreading the percentage even though it's spinning at 100%?

max rpm is 4300. I know because all softwares show the max fan usage at %70. no i didnt e-mail zotac.

Car gets overheated when it is used %100 all the time ( for example at ghost recon future soldier)

i play spec ops the line right now the max temp is 94 and pc doesnt shut off

4300 RPM sounds just about right for 100%. My GPU (Gigabyte gtx 560 ti) at 100% fan sped is 3800 RPM. It's strange that it will overheating though. Are the cables tidy? Is there enough air flow? How's the ambient temperature? You don't have anything put on top of your PC? Is it dust free?

but it shows as %70 fan speed. and the minimum is always %40.

cables are tidy. Air flow is okay i guess. the case fans are default, nothing fancy but they work.
Well it is summer so ambient temps are higher.
The case is dust free and there are nothing on it.

The software may base its percentages on a stock card and the Zotac fans may run slower. Bigger, better fans can run slower and still cool appropriately. So I wouldn't worry about the 70%, I'd worry about why your card is getting so hot that you need even 70%. 560s do not tend to run that warm.

hey quick question when under load what fan % do u use? when i use auto in bf3 and wither 2 the fan speed goes up to 85~99% and get a max temp of about 70~75C is that good or is it better to have the fan set at one speed constantly i.e. 80%?
