Is 500w Enough to run this build and handle OC?

Hi am abit confused on picking and choosing the right PSU for my build, the PSU is probably the most important part to choose as if that fails; all else will fail.

At the moment here are my low budget parts:
-Asus Maximus V Gene
-Intel i5 3570k
-XFX 7770 SOC BB
-G-Skill 8GB Ripjaws X DDR3
-Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2

But am planning to use my old 500w PSU, but am not sure If it will run or be suitable for OC.

Am planning to OC to 4.3/4ghz but unsure on whether the PSU is up to the job.

Can anyone recommend me a decent PSU which isn't ridiculously overpriced.

Your PSU is probably OK, but a PSU upgrade is probably a good idea. I'd recommend the Seasonic or Corsair with the Enermax or OCZ as second choices. The Silverstone is highly recommended, but I have no experience with that brand.

Your old 500w PSU will work (if it's a good brand), realhardtechX suggests a
quality 430w unit for a sys with a single 7770. If you want to upgrade
anyway post your budget & location. There's some good deals right
now here in the US.
