Setting-Up Dual Monitors

Let's say I purchase the following single-slot video card that has VGA and HDMI out:

Would I be able to setup dual monitors by having one cable from VGA go monitor A and one cable from HDMI go to monitor B? If this is not the case please explain the typical and cheapest way to setup dual monitor functionality.

also im not interested in gaming. this is more for a business environment.

That is why there are multiple outputs on the card. You should have no problem using any two of the three.
A few cards will let you use all three outputs, but they tend to be high end cards.
