Hey all,

How hard is it to get a Fused Wiring (and where do you get, except for the
AH)?

I ask because I've only seen them drop from my dead target dummies (and only
ever seen 2 of them). But I just put one on the AH today and in less than an
hour I had a bid of 4g50s! And I expected it to bring in about 50s

When WoW first went live one dropped for me in STV from a Goblin. I
tried to sell it but people told me to stop trying to sell junk. Now
they are worth good money cause they are rare (as far as I know).

Making a pile of dummys uses a ton of resources. After it is all said &
done, 4g for each fused wiring hardly makes it worth it.

Having said all that, I made a killing on Fused Wiring once, made over 100g
selling them. In retrospect, it was a LOT of work & I could have made that
money in many other ways putting in that kind of effort.

there is no way to make them or any really reliable way to acquire them
except certain drops.

making target dummies is the easiest way... u can use the "cheapest"
dummies... my friend usually get 1 wiring out of 3 dummies. (use duell
and let another player destroy ur dummy)

They also drop from the mech & dwarf mobs in Gnomeragon. Most level 60s
can solo the entire instance in less than a half hour.

I got a drop of one of these recently. Had no idea they were so rare. Not
positive where I got it, but I'm almost certain I got it off of one of
those macines walking around with the Venture Co. geologists in
Stranglethorn Vale.

Yup ..the shredders in STV drop them ..maybe 1 in 10 I'd guess..maybe less

They drop from pretty much any mechanical mob, but most of
those are found in Gnomer. The other place where I've
actually had better luck picking them up is the Venture
Co camp in Stranglethorn Vale where the goblin shredders
are 37th level and not elite. The main problem with that
is that the spawn rate on the shredders is fairly slow,
but if you're questing in that area and swing through to
nuke the shredders from time to time then you can get a
decent number of chances for drops.

They are also used by our guild to make repair bots for Molten Core runs
.. So they are very much in demand.
