Choosing router

ive researched a bit about routers but still have no idea what im doing...
figured maybe u guys can help me out?

i rent a room for a year and its got internet access
but it only has only one ethernet jack
i need to share that with two machines at the same time
and its not a must but if i can also have wireless it would be great!
