Recommend me a PSU

Looking for something in the 650-750w range, capable of running an i5 3570k system with a HD6970. Liking the look of this one: http://www.octagon-electronics.com/index.php/pc-power-supply/antec/antec-truepower-650w-atx-power-supply.html

  1. Yeah that power supply is good but i reccomend future proofing by buying at least a 750W
  2. There is a 750w version available.

Hi - what is your AU$ budget?
  4. $100-$150 budget
  5. Seasonic or Corsair

The 550w would be enough, 650w gives you a bigger buffer, 750w if you plan on doubling up on the video card

    Hi - realhardtechX suggests a 550w psu for a sys with a 6970,
so the the truepower 650 you linked is more than sufficient.
If you want a couple of alternatives to consider:

    http://www.octagon-electronics.com/index.php/pc-power-supply/antec/antec-truepower-750w-atx-power-supply.html

    http://www.octagon-electronics.com/index.php/pc-power-supply/seasonic/seasonic-m12d-750w-modular-psu-1114.html

I'm biased to Seasonic(I have one), but any of the three will work well
    with your 6970 sys.

    Tom
