Hi all!

I'm trying to help someone with very little knowledge of photo editing. I
own Photoshop but know very little about Irfanview.
How can the thumbnails (T) be set to appear at a particular directory? I
checked "Directory tree" and "Most recent directories" as well as "Save
current size / position", yet, if I close Irfanview and open it again, the
thumbnails are gone and all I have is the basic Directory tree (A, C, D,
etc.).
Thanks for any help coming my way.
Marcel

Not quite what you want but having found the directory turn off
'Directory tree' leave 'Most recent directories' on. Close IrfanView.
Open IrfanView, go to thumbnails, you'll have a 'blank' directory line at the
top, click on the drop down icon at the end and there should be listed your
directory.

May I reply with a question, please. When I bring up an image with
Irfanview, it always comes up at mmaximum + zoom, requiring me to
manually zoom it down to see the full image. Irfan told me to set it at
1:1, but it was already set at 1:1. Is there any way to reset my
Irfanview so that an image comes up in full frame?
Thank you.

Go to View, Display Options, choose exactly what meets your needs. "Fit
only big images to desktop" works well for me.
