I'm buying a Geforce 560TI and am wondering which to buy. My priorities are not so much overclocking capability, but performance/value and quietness. I've had a look at some MSI versions and they look good, but can't decide between these two:

MSI GeForce GTX 560Ti Hawk 1024MB @ 950MHz
MSI nVIDIA GTX560Ti OC @ 880MHz

They are roughly the same price for me. Are there any other, better models to look out for?

Cheers

Well with 560TI i only would recommend a few because there a bit overpriced these would be worth it.Look at the non-reference 560 Ti designs, factory OC'd to 900 Mhz. Among them you will find several models that have upgrade dPCB's and beefed up VRMs. The ones w/ 7 phases or more and the special coolers have been known to top 30% overclocks over the reference card speed. So i suggest you start caring about overclocking lol.I would get the Asus DCII Cu TOP if i was in you.

Some to consider ....

MSI Hawk (950Mhz - 9 phase VRM)

Asus DCII Cu TOP (900Mhz - 7 phase VRM)

Thanks guys, would it be worth paying £20 more for a HD 7850? Are there any drawbacks to the HD 7850 as it seems to be a stronger card in terms of benchmarks?

But what about an HD 7850 overclocked to 920MHz? I've also seen the 7850 is quieter/cooler and uses less power

And I'm not planning on getting into overclocking the cards myself btw...

If your not going to overclock the GTX 570 is the way to go

That's quite a bit more expensive than the HD 7850 though...

I'm in the UK, where you can get the Sapphire OC Hd7850 for £180, whilst the 570 tend to be around £230 at least. Though for some reason there is a Palit offering for £190... Don't really trust that though, as its the only GTX 570 below £230...

that a good price 180 for a 7850 might be the way to go then
