Hey, I got 6825 as my score, AVG FPS being 30.94.
My current setup:
i5 3570k @ 3.80 GHz
Gigabyte 7870
8GB DDR3 1600Mhz
Corsair 850w PS
120GB Agility OCZ SSD
2TB Seagate
Gigabyte Z77-D3H

I don't know, I feel as if that my score is not really up to par, Maybe not a low score, but I feel like I should have been upwards of 7000.

Can anyone tell me if this is low for my specs? or if I have a bad computer?

1.Update your GPU drivers and 3DMark.
2.Did you install the chipset and mobo drivers?
3.Update BIOS.

Just do step one, but if that doesn't improve performance, try the next steps. Don't update your BIOS unless the other steps didn't work, and you know what you're doing. Also, here's the link to the latest AMD drivers for Windows 8/7/Vista 64-bit.

I don't see how that rig is low-spec by any means. Just try the steps I listed above.

I have almost the exact same system as you and I'm getting worse results than you:
GFX: 6753
Physics: 7701
Combined: 6806

My HD 7870 is core edition and has a stable OC @ clock: 1100mhz and mem:1320mhz

I wouldn't worry about yours if it's not overclocked, not a bad score
