Xonar DG randomly stopped working?

Was working perfectly fine for about a week or two then randomly sound stopped working from the sound card...onboard sound works fine so i know its not the speakers.

When i put the xonar dg installer disk it saids "please plug in Xonar DG" but when i check my computer its securely connected into a PCI slot...

in my sound options i see "asus xonar DGX audio device" but realtek Hd audio manager doesn't detect it and i have no sound eitherway


help?!?


I hate it when something is working perfectly fine then all of a sudden dies on you .. >.<

dont know why but changing the PCI slot worked guess im newb but it worked before o well
