Hi,
if I change the CAS rating in BIOS from 2.5 to 2, will this produce any extra heat? Like overclocking, can it fry the RAM?

When I rule the world, Apple will only mean the fruit.

Did it on mine and its ok at 2,2,2. Temp on the memory goes to 33C at present so that isn't hot by any means.
