GTX 560 (non Ti) Bottleneck

Hey Guys,

Gonna get a new GPU for my next build. It's a budget PC. Now will a Pentium G850 2.9 Bottleneck a Gigabyte GTX 560 1GB Graphics card?

No, it will not bottleneck. It's a rather good CPU. You can consider G860 it's only $2 more than the G850 on newegg in the U.S. It was Tom's Hardware best recommendation under $100 in September 2011.

Fantastik250 has that nailed. Although, you should look into the GTX 480. Its only about, say, $30 more than than a typical GTX 560. All you really need to make sure on though is that if you want to buy a GTX 480, you need a power supply that is at least 650 watts while being 80+ bronze and that your case would be able to hold that 10.5 inch beast.

Note: If you do end up buying the GTX 480, make sure it gets some damn good cooling; it can reach 90*C in demanding needs.

So would a G850, Asus H61 Board, GTX 560, 4GB Ram, 500GB HDD, 520watt PSU cause no or a small bottleneck?
Also, would this be able to play demanding games (BF3) on medium at a descent frame rate
