27" iMac GPU question

Hey guys, I have a bit of a dilemma. My good friend who has the 27" iMac, was wondering if it could handle Battlefield 3. I couldn't give him an answer, because honestly, I don't know. Hence me coming here. Anyway, here are the specs:

Intel i5 - 3.1 Ghz
4GB 1333 MHz DDR3 RAM
And the HD 6970M 1024MB.


I wasn't sure because I had the 6570, and it could barely handle BF3 on low, so I figured the Mobile 6970 would have a little better performance, but not much.

P.S. He'll probably increase the amount of RAM he has.

It seems as though it performs slightly better than the desktop 6790. Hope that helps
